Hello and welcome to another weekly-roundup. If you’re reading this on the blog (if not then pop on over to see the decorations!) then you’ll notice that we’ve come over all festive and I thought I’d stick with the festive feeling for this week’s round-up!
Holiday Blog Love – Oh lovely Rose
Lauren was nice enough to feature one of my posts (see below) on her massive and excellent list of all things Christmas related. You’ll want to pour yourself a glass of eggnog whilst you sit down and check out these festive recipes, decorations, gift guides, entertaining and more.
Christmas Present Ideas For Productivity Lovers – Flipping Heck!
In case you missed it, at the beginning of November I posted some must-have gifts for productivity lovers. If you’re struggling for ideas for a useful present then this article may just help!
12 Gifts for Procrastinators and Productivity Gurus – Flipping Heck!
If you don’t see anything you want to ask Santa for in the post I wrote this year, check out my 2014 post – you’re bound to find something you can ask for on this list – as long as you’ve been good of course!
If you’re struggling for ideas for the children in your life – or the big kid in your life! – then check out this post from Stuff. My bet is the Star Wars BB-8 will be a big hit!
How to make your own Christmas crackers – Country Life
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without crackers, but I’m fed up of paying through the nose for a rubbish “prize” and a crap joke. This year I’ve decided to make my own and have been storing up kitchen rolls so I can put a perfect gift in each cracker. You’ll need something to make it go “bang” – and a hat to put on your head so check out this cracker kit on Amazon (affiliate link – I may write my own jokes though!)
Christmas cocktails and mocktails – BBC Good Food
Bring on the festive cheer with these great drinks from mulled wine to layered drinks and there’s lots of non-alcoholic options for the drivers and youngsters too.
All you need is a few mason jars and some imagination for these 24 great gifts – I think the “Mommy Survival Kit” should contain neat vodka though!
There’s some great tech and paper-based presents in this list. I’m always keeping my eye out for a reasonably priced sunrise alarm clock and the one on this list looks great – even if the author links Season Affective Disorder with England!
Over To You
