Workers Are ‘Ghosting’ Employers Thanks To The Tight Labor Market – Business Insider
When I first started at work at the turn of the new Millenium, if I didn’t show up for work or contact them I’m pretty sure that would lead to them calling the police and reporting me as a missing person. It would seem though that because I’m an “old hand” when it comes to employment I might not understand the latest technique for leaving a job: Ghosting.
Yes, the millenial dating technique of avoiding saying “It’s not you, it’s me” has brought itself to the workplace with people not even saying goodbye and just skipping off to new jobs. I guess you can’t burn any bridges leaving this way, but I don’t know how you could expect a reference either.”

You can add rules to your router but this will affect everyone trying to access certain sites and if you really need to stop access to Facebook, Tumblr or Netflix then there is a fool-proof way to do it.
