If you're looking for a simple and effective way to save money then you can't go far wrong with the 365 penny saver. The premise behind it is that you put 1 penny in on day 1 of the year, 2 pennies on day 2 and so-on until the last day of the year when you put 365 pennies in. At the end of the year you'll have ended up saving 667.95! Because saving essentially £3 plus a day in December may be a bit of a stretch, this kit also includes a reverse savings chart so you start saving 365 pennies on day 1 down to 1 penny on day 365 which may be a little easier for some people to save. Each month is colour coded, with the day of the month against the amount to make it easier for you to see what you need to put in on what day.
