Sounds like a plan to me

I looked in the rear view mirror in my car at lunch time and was shocked at how bad I looked. My cheeks are red raw and puffy and what's worse I'm getting spotty. What the heck is up with that? I've never had spots (thankfully) and now this crappy cold thing has brought them out in droves. I've decided that when I get home (which hopefully will be about an hour and a half) I'm going to have a cuppa soup and go to bed. Sod the boys, they can sort out their own dinner.

Went to the book shop this lunch time instead of going to McDonalds - very cultural (and healthy) of me I know. I bought a book about Interview techniques hopefully it'll help me bluff my way through the next interview I have, whatever the job may be for. I also bought a book called "Artemis Foul" which is supposed to rival Harry Potter. I know it's a kids book but I don't care! Review to follow. And I went all geeky and bought a book on C# which is apparently the next big thing in programming (according to the company I interviewed with) so I thought I'd best learn it a bit - least that should make me more employable.... right?

PHB#1 just came in and it's past home time. Told her I wasn't going to show her what I'd done until I was on my way out as I couldn't discuss it now. I am a cheeky mare sometimes. I hate it which means she'll probably love it. At this point I don't care, all artistic integrity is out the window, I just want to get the whole mess over and done with and then she can sack me. Horrah!

Home...Soup...Book... Bed... yeay!
