More updates to the site - I must stop fiddling with it at some point!

There're some new features that have been added... drum roll please!

Trackbacks Added

After getting my head around the murky world of XML and HTTP Response Headers I've now implemented a "Katy version" of Trackbacks.

I know I can receive trackbacks - yes, thank-you spammers. Luckily comment spammers can't seem to get through the Ajax but they were able to fool the trackback script so I've had to set them to moderated. I've not had a go at "trackbacking" another website yet as I've not found one I visit with a trackback URL (and a subject I've commented on!) so if anyone's got one I can ~~spam~~ test it on I'd be eternally grateful.

Change the formatting!

I've now added a little drop-down menu (currently on the right in the "Links and things" but that could change...) which allows you to specify one of 4 layouts for the website. So if (for some reason) you don't like the way the columns are ordered you can move 'em about. Aren't I thoughtful?

Ping!

Again, after fiddling with XML and HTTP Response Headers, when an entry is added or edited the site now automatically pings Technorati so if you follow such things you should see the site updated.

Baa! Sheep!

Whilst I seem to be the only person on the planet who doesn't have a home on "MySpace", I've joined ""MyBlogLog" basically because I liked the cool "recent visitors" widget. Also, the community aspect of it is nice. I now know for definite I have 5 friends. Yes 5, count 'em! but I have no members in my community - boo!
