Er, Microsoft... Are you there?

I'm still waiting for Microsoft to respond to my previous enquiry (nice to see that customer service is a high priority) and for the third time in as many days there website seems to be down - or is it just me?
I can't access their downloads centre at all today.
Not very good for a company who designs and develops web publishing and hosting technologies to have their own site on the blink...
I still remember the fuss when someone discovered Hotmail didn't run on Windows (a long time ago now) (see here for more links).
Now I know why.... they're about as reliable as [insert very unreliable thing here]
