Do You Want My Custom?

I popped into the local Honda Garage at lunch time to take a look at the Honda Civic on Pops' suggestion. The way that the snotty little oik of a salesman looked at me was beyond belief. You could tell he didn't want "my sort of person" (not sure what that is but presumably it has something to do with being under the age of 70) buying one of his precious cars.

Not to be put-off I asked to see a demonstration model (particularly as one wasn't available in the garage and I knew he'd have to faff about for the keys), I can't say I was overly impressed although the good thing about it is that I didn't get to see the exactly the model I was after as I only had about half-an-hour for lunch so I'm not 100% put off.

The new version of the Honda is coming out in January which does look like a nice motor, if a bit flashy for my taste - plus I don't want to wait that long! Anyway, that means I get to upgrade the spec of the car for next to no money so we'll have to see, I guess it all depends on how well it drives and what optional extras they'll throw in for free!
