As it's a bit chilly and the village looks quite picturesque in the snow I thought I'd take a couple of pictures for the benefit of my Antipodean readers who are lounging around in the sunshine.

In retrospect I should have taken them when I first got up but I couldn't be bothered so most of the snow has melted. However, with the weather being what it is I'm sure I can get a better photo tomorrow.

Doesn't it look lovely. I'm so glad I don't have to drive in it!

I met up with in "The Local" last night and we had a conversation about "The Other Pub". "TOP" is now no longer to be known by that name. wonderfully suggested a new name for the place on the spur of the moment so from now on it shall be named "The Marie Celeste". I think the reasons behind that train of thought are self-explanatory, especially as when asked me the last time I was in there and it was about two weeks ago I went in there properly.

There are no darts tonight as it's a competition that we're not in and I can't tell you how relieved I am. I was going to pull out tonight anyway as I really couldn't face it. Partly as I thought it was being held in "The Mary Celeste", secondly because I'm boracic and thirdly because I'm still not over a stinking rotten head cold.

Well I guess my break's over and I have to go back to the grind. I'm secretly quite enjoying working again (don't tell my Dad) but it's been a bit weird trying to get my head back into employment mode. I guess once I have a routine I'll be alright.
