I didn't get the first job I went for Apparently I came second after the second round of interviews. I do wish people wouldn't tell me that, I find it rather depressing as I can't figure out what I did wrong not to come first. I expect that the other person was probably cheaper than me!

So, because I'm still penniless I've bitten the bullet and signed up to Google's Adsense program to see if I can get any revenue out of it - I need beer money! Still there's the other interview I still have to hear back about - fingers crossed for that one and I've applied for a couple more jobs so here's hoping.

This week will be spent trying to get the BlogIt! software up to release standards - I still haven't had any comments on what features people would like to see that they don't have in their current blogging software. By the looks of it though I may face stiff competition as all Google seems to be advertising down the right-hand-side are rivals to my system!

Not sure what else I'll be doing this week as it all looks very quiet. I think I have darts on Thursday but I may have to cancel it as half the team appears to have gone AWOL. Perhaps I should go bowling again instead, I think that would be more fun!

I had a resonably good weekend. I was a bit depressed Friday night and had decided to stay in but I got very bored by 10.30pm and headed out for a couple of drinks then last night Zack Dingle, and I met up for a few drinks. and I stayed late and I really drank too much vodka I think!

Why is it after a night out you wake up covered in bruises? I'm sure I didn't fall over, walk into anything or get in a fight and yet I'm black and blue all over - and in some very improbable places.... one of life's great mysteries or is something more sinister going on?!
