I'm a bit popular at the moment for a change!
I have another interview for a Web Development/IT role tomorrow lunchtime. Unfortunately it clashes with my appointment at the local Job Centre (the appointment is to prove I'm looking for work). I 'phoned the job centre to rearrange the appointment and I couldn't believe their reaction, you'd have thought I had the plague or something! One would think they'd be happy one of their "clients" has an interview but I felt like a pariah. Perhaps they don't want me to get a job after all?
The popularity comes from also being granted another interview, this one with a publishing firm as an Editor.... I'm not sure why I applied for that one. I think because it was a bit different, liked the salary and thought I should perhaps look a bit further afield so the Job Centre lady didn't shout at me. I now have to do a little written test (should be alright) and find examples of my written work which I'm not too sure about. I don't know if a section of my dissertation will be relevant, whether the proposal I wrote (warning, large file for those on dialup) for "Internet Works" magazine is suitable (if I can find it) - I guess at least that shows I can stick to the word limit! - or if the article I wrote for my local village newsletter about 10 years ago will do. Somehow I think that using this blog would be a mistake... 
Argh! I wrote that I have experience writing content for E-Magazines......
Now to find that work!
